Install ForexCord on MetaTrader 5

1Buy a plan & activate your account
Create your account
Sign up with your name, email and a password. You'll get a customer ID (FC######) and, on free-trial setups, instant access to try everything first.
Choose your plan
On the pricing page pick the access you want. Plans marked + EA include the Expert Advisor; others are indicator-only. Every plan is a one-time payment — no auto-renew.
Pay & get activated
Checkout is handled by WalletPlug (card, mobile money or crypto). The moment payment confirms, your access turns on automatically and your plan's features — indicator, EA (if included) and your MT5-account limit — are enabled on your account. You'll see it live on your dashboard.
2Install the ForexCord Pro indicator
The indicator draws the scored BUY/SELL signals, the on-chart panel and the multi-pair scanner. Watch the walkthrough, then follow the written steps.
Download the indicator
On your dashboard, download ForexCordPro.ex5. Save it somewhere easy to find, like your Downloads folder.
Open the MT5 data folder
In MetaTrader 5, click File → Open Data Folder. A file window opens — go into MQL5 → Indicators.
Paste the file in
Copy ForexCordPro.ex5 into that Indicators folder. Then switch back to MT5, right-click the Navigator panel on the left and choose Refresh — ForexCord Pro now appears under Indicators.
Drag it onto a chart
Open a chart (M30 or higher on EUR/USD, XAU/USD or BTC/USD works well) and drag ForexCord Pro from the Navigator straight onto it. An Inputs dialog pops up.
Paste your activation code
In the Inputs tab, paste your code into Activation code and click OK. It verifies offline — no WebRequest, URL whitelist or internet setup needed. The panel appears instantly and signals start printing on closed candles.
3Set up the Expert Advisor (EA)
If your plan includes the EA, it turns ForexCord's signals into automated trades with your own risk, news filter and prop-firm safety rules. Do the indicator first (above), then set up the EA once your plan and activation are in place.
Download & install the EA
From your dashboard download ForexCordExpert.ex5. In MT5 open File → Open Data Folder → MQL5 → Experts, paste the file there, then right-click the Navigator and choose Refresh. ForexCord Expert appears under Expert Advisors.
Attach it to a chart
Drag ForexCord Expert onto the chart of the pair you want to automate. Use one chart per pair. The Inputs dialog opens.
Enter your code & choose your settings
Paste your Activation code (same code system as the indicator, locked to this MT5 account). Then set your preferences: Risk % per trade, the high-impact news filter, prop-firm guardrails (max drawdown lock & daily trade cap) and partial take-profit. Defaults are safe — click OK.
Turn on Algo Trading
Click the Algo Trading button in the top toolbar so it turns green. A smiling face in the chart's top-right corner means the EA is live and watching the market. (No trades open during the news window or once a guardrail is hit.)
Let it run 24/7 (optional)
MT5 must stay open for the EA to trade. To trade around the clock without leaving your PC on, run MetaTrader 5 on a VPS. The EA keeps managing stops, break-even and partial exits automatically.
🔑How the activation code works
On the dashboard, enter the MT5 account number you'll trade on and click Generate code. The code is tied to that exact account.
The same code activates the indicator and the EA on that account — just paste it into each one's Inputs.
Activation is verified on your machine with a signed code — no WebRequest, no whitelist, nothing to configure. It's valid until your access expires.
Generate a separate code for each MT5 account, up to your plan's account limit (shown on your dashboard).
📈Reading the signals
The on-chart panel
Shows live bias, the 0–100 setup score, the higher-timeframe trend (HTF), session and a candle-close countdown — plus a red DON'T TRADE banner around high-impact news.
BUY / SELL labels
BUY and SELL print on closed candles with a score and ready-made Entry, Stop-Loss and two Take-Profit levels. Signals never repaint.
The multi-pair scanner
A second panel ranks several markets at once so you can see the strongest setups without flipping charts.
Alerts
Pop-up, sound and phone push alerts fire the instant a qualifying candle closes. Add your MetaQuotes ID in Tools → Options → Notifications for phone alerts.
🔧Troubleshooting
The tool isn't in my Navigator
Make sure the file is in the right folder — indicator in MQL5/Indicators, EA in MQL5/Experts — then right-click the Navigator and choose Refresh. Use File → Open Data Folder to be sure you're in the correct MT5 installation.
“Licence required” or the code won't accept
The code must be generated for the exact MT5 account number the chart is running on, and your access must still be active. Re-generate the code for that account on your dashboard and paste it again (no extra spaces).
The scanner shows “loading” or is empty
Your broker may add a suffix to symbol names (like EURUSD.m or BTCUSD.x). Set the Broker suffix input, or the scanner will auto-detect it and always show your current pair.
The EA isn't trading
Check that Algo Trading is green in the toolbar and there's a smiling face on the chart. The EA also stands aside during the high-impact news window and once a prop-firm guardrail is hit — that's by design.
I want signals 24/7
MetaTrader 5 must be running to receive signals or auto-trade. Run it on a VPS to keep it on around the clock.
